Build confidence on the trail with Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance Central Chapter. This beginner-friendly clinic introduces the foundational skills needed for safe, comfortable mountain biking, including body positioning, braking, climbing, line choice, and smooth trail riding.
No prior off-road experience is required. Participants should be comfortable riding a bicycle and prepared for 2–5 miles of trail riding.
As part of Evergreen’s 2026 Digital Access Commitment, participants will also be connected with digital trail resources that can help them explore local riding areas, check conditions, and plan future rides with confidence.

Join Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance Central Washington Chapter and Chelan-Douglas Land Trust on September 26 for the Surge for Lightning work party at Sage Hills.
Volunteers will help prepare the newly rebuilt Coyote Canyon and Lightning trails for opening by brushing trail corridors and helping decommission the Jackhammer trail.
As part of Digital Access Month, Evergreen will also share resources and information about how to find local trails online, check trail details and conditions, and use digital tools to plan a safe and appropriate ride. This supports Evergreen’s 2026 Digital Access Commitment to make recreation and trail stewardship opportunities easier for community members to find and navigate.

¿Te preguntas qué es realmente la inteligencia artificial (IA), cómo la utilizan las personas o cómo empezar a usarla de forma segura? Esta sesión es para ti.
Únete a NCW Tech Alliance y a las Bibliotecas de NCW para una introducción sencilla y de nivel principiante a la IA.
En esta sesión de una hora, aprenderás qué es la IA, cómo las herramientas de ChatGPT y Microsoft Copilot trabajan, y cómo pueden ayudarte con tareas cotidianas como organizar o generar ideas, planificar, comprender información, comunicarse, y crear listas de verificación.
También practicarás cómo pedirle a la IA la ayuda o la información que necesitas y aprenderás formas sencillas de obtener respuestas más útiles.
También hablaremos de cómo usar la IA de forma segura y responsable, incluyendo qué información nunca se debe compartir, cuándo se debe verificar la información generada por IA y cómo reconocer las estafas comunes que utilizan IA.
No se requiere experiencia técnica en inteligencia artificial. Solo necesitas curiosidad.
Los participantes que completen la formación recibirán un certificado.
